 2 passengers were lucky to escape suffering only shock when a tree fell on their car on corner of  jeffrey st/the royal mile in edinburgh.
the survivors were whisked away in an ambulance shortly after the incident at 6pm on tuesday evening.

Francis Gerard Devine(55, mob 07825247638) gives a thumbs up as he is released form edinburgh accident and emergency, little france, edinburgh after walking away from crushed car on the royal mile with no injuries at all.

Francis was in the car with passenger Trevor Fawcett(53, mob 07825247648) and both walked out unhurt.
